Swinging & Sliding (and Horseback Riding!)

Yesterday we spent quite a while at the park.  As the new bouncy castle was out of commission (something about the electricity), Gio chose to swing instead.  It is quite a victory to actually snag a swing as they are very popular, so Gio was quite thrilled to grab one.  And, no, I am not an overprotective parent.  He just prefers to keep his scooter helmet whenever he is out!

And I was actually happy with his helmet-wearing obsession when he picked the largest horse in the park for a ride!

With Paolo off to Minsk this morning and the beginning of a predicted 9 days of rain, Gio and I voted to head back to the water park again today- our 3rd trip in a week!  I discovered that pictures are actually allowed (a rare privilege here in Ukraine!), so here are some images from our morning.  The many slide videos give a sense of how Gio spent 3 of the 4 hours we were there.  I lost track but I estimate he went down these slides at least 50 times.  He would have happily gone down the giant slides as well if the lifeguards had not blocked his way!
Fishing...

This place also has a lot of non-water activities, including bouncy castles, arcade-style games and this giant climbing playhouse.
Below are 4 videos of Gio's favorite slides at the park.... The squeals of delight you hear over the loud music are Gio's!

And what did Enzo do the entire time we were at the water park??  Here is what I found when we got home....
